VER Supports RK Productions at Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show

VER supplied video services to the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 halftime show live on CBS. VER clients Coldplay and Bruno Mars performed with Beyoncé during an energetic, colorful 12-minute performance to a worldwide audience of 111.9 million viewers.

Supporting longtime client RK Productions, VER provided 9mm pixel pitch modular outdoor-rated LED display panels custom mounted to create the kinetic 33’5” X 35’5” main stage, and a custom media server system to deliver the show’s unique, dynamic creative content. In addition, VER provided proprietary 5mm LED product used to create environments for VER client, Mark Ronson’s DJ booth, as well as the MVP pre-game and Super Bowl MVP presentation.

Each Super Bowl halftime show takes over six months to prepare. RK Productions handles everything from design, music, and video to special effects and camera cuts. All of these elements are meticulously planned so each show can be set up flawlessly in a matter of minutes, often with no second to spare.
