SVG@NAB Perspectives: Fujinon's Thom Calabro on the New UA107x and Growth in 4K

Among the highlights inside Fujinon’s booth at the 2016 NAB Show is the debut of the UA107x, which the company touts as the longest and widest 4K UHD lens in the industry.

The company hopes it sets a new standard for 4K UHD and HD production by providing4K optical quality across the entire zoom focal range.

In addition, Fujinon has launched three new lenses: the UA13x4.5 wide zoom lens, which is capable of shooting at an ultra-wide-angle of 4.5mm; the UA80x9 1.2 EXT zoom lens achieving a telephoto focal length of 864mm with a 1.2x extender; and the UA107x8.4 4K broadcast zoom lens with a zoom ratio of 107x.
