SVG College Sports Summit: Conference Digital Networks Preach Teamwork
Story Highlights
Conferences large and small have found the value in keeping their institutions and live-video strategy united under one banner for programming, branding, and operations. However, conference-wide networks require a lot of planning and forethought. The 2016 SVG College Sports Summit addressed several key questions for the effort: Who makes gear decisions? How are programming and production responsibilities assigned? How do individual institutions best contribute to the greater mission while maintaining their own brands?
A diverse panel featuring Ezra Broder, West Coast Conference, assistant director, video services; Mark Bryant, Big South Conference, director, multimedia development; Jordan Foreman, Conference USA, director, C-USA Network; Paul Lollis, Southern Conference, director, video productions; and Matt Panto, The Ivy League, assistant executive director, digital media and communications.
