Live from SMPTE 2016: Lawo CEO Philipp Lawo on the Audio Power’s Shift to Video

The move to IP-production workflows in the live production industry has resulted in Lawo, traditionally an audio-centric vendor, becoming a major player in video-production. Its VSM and IP Commentary products played and integral role in NBC Olympics’ Rio Games productions and its V__matrix product promises to dramatically change broadcast video core infrastructure.

SVG’s Jason Dachman spoke with Lawo CEO and Owner Philipp Lawo at the SMPTE 2016 show in Los Angeles.
