MLB.com At Bat Intros Club-Branded App Icons

MLB.com At Bat introduced a new way for MLB fans to personalize their baseball experiences by providing access to customize the app icon, prominently featuring their favorite MLB team logos on the homescreens of their iPhones and iPads. This latest fan-friendly tech innovation from At Bat was delivered with iOS 10.3, the latest software release on iPhone and iPad.

More than 93% of At Bat’s millions of subscribers already utilize the opportunity to choose a favorite team, customizing the entire in-app At Bat experience to prominently feature the team’s scores, news, video highlights, tickets and more. The customized club-branded app icons mark the first time a league’s fan customization has been extended outside the app experience on iPhone and iPad, allowing fans the opportunity to showcase that team’s logo while still getting the complete At Bat award-winning feature set and functionality.

At Bat, which also offers a similar functionality on Android, will be delivering fans its annual Opening Day update later this week.
