VIDEO: Sports Media and Entertainment Session at NAB Show Hosted by SVG Tackles Changing Landscape

NBA, Facebook, NeuLion, ETN Media execs share their thoughts

Live sports are uniquely able to captivate consumers in the moment, no matter how viewers are tuning in. As streaming video quality and availability has caught up to consumer appetite, the industry is entering an era of unprecedented access to live streaming entertainment across many platforms and devices. With increasingly personalized and interactive experiences, streaming services are changing the notion of how fans watch live events. At the 2017 NAB Show last month, a panel moderated by SVG Co-Executive Director Ken Kerschbaumer entitled “A New Era of Live Entertainment Streaming” featured top execs from ETN Media/Street League Skateboarding, Facebook, the NBA, and NeuLion discussing the capabilities of leading streaming video providers and the inherent advantages for brands and content rights holders.
