NAB 2016: ONE CONNXT to Exhibit Video Transport and OTT/CDN Distribution Services

ONE CONNXT, the U.S.  leader in IP broadcast video transport, announced its team will be exhibiting ONE CONNXT’s high quality worldwide video transport and OTT/CDN distribution services for 4K Ultra HD, HD and SD content during NAB 2016.

ONE CONNXTNAB has always been a great show for us,” states Dave Almstead, CEO ONE CONNXT. “Since our business is global, we get an opportunity to talk to our clients who come from all over the world. It is clear that the future of IP transport is now and we support NAB’s efforts in helping bring this global community together.”

“We announced our OTT platform CloudConnxt during CABSAT last month and we are furthering that offering with bundles of partner networks signing on and becoming available to help fill the gaps in available offerings by providing direct licensing and pre-transcoded content,” states Chris Lavin, ONE CONNXT Chief Technology Officer. “We have also lowered the cost barrier to entry by offering a complete solution for OTT with a software implementation that allows customers to be live in 60 days — at less than $50K USD.”

Lavin further states, “We continue to remove barriers to entry for content providers and broadcasters all over the world. In addition to CloudCONNXT we are rolling out our Edge playout services for broadcasters and content owners. The Edge playout allows content owners to play out from the cloud, with full compliance, and utilizing ONE CONNXT’S transport services, those streams can then be delivered to traditional terrestrial, satellite and cable headends, as well as OTT distributors worldwide, in full broadcast quality SD,HD and UltraHD, further lowering startup costs and reducing total time to market with content.”
