SVG@NAB Perspectives: Larry Thorpe Dives Into 4K, 8K, and Canon's Newest Lenses

Canon is dialing it all the way up to 8K at this year’s NAB Show, showing off its latest 8K technology and services, in addition to  a robust collection of new and improved 4K lenses, including the new COMPACT-SERVO 18-80mm Zoom Lens.

Canon has brought its 8K Ride Experience to the show, which projects video on large screens surrounding viewers to give a unique sense of movement while sitting or standing still. On top of that, there’s working prototype 8K cameras and lenses, with imagery being shown on Canon 8K displays.
