NAB 2017: Encompass, Kaltura To Provide Next-Generation Video Service to Here Media
Encompass Digital Media (Booth SU2324), a global technology-services company delivering end-to-end video playout and distribution solutions to broadcast and digital media companies, is providing an integrated set of services for Here Media, the world’s largest provider of LGBTQ-oriented content. Through its global partnership with Kaltura, a leading OTT-platform provider, Encompass expanded its current channel playout and MVPD distribution relationship with Here Media.
With Encompass delivering complete managed services, Kaltura is providing its video platform and applications for iOS and Android and apps for Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire. The Here TV OTT experience incorporates both advertising supported (AVOD) and subscription (SVOD) video-on-demand.
