Oh Less for OLED?

OLED seems an ideal display technology except for two problems.  One was lifetimes, but the OLED monitors shown at last month’s NAB convention were said to be good to 20,000 to 35,000 hours of use.

The other was cost.  Sony’s PVM740 seven-inch OLED display carries a suggested U.S. list price of $3850.00
