Why Baseball's Streaming Technology Is Used By ESPN, CBS Sports And Glenn Beck (Video)

Forbes.com reports that Bob Bowman, CEO of MLBAM, and his team have built the best video streaming platform in sports. It is so good in fact that it is being used by ESPN, CBS Sports and even Glenn Beck. Bowman discussed the development and uses of the online technology during a recent interview on the YES Network’s Forbes SportsMoney. Bowman also explains why he believes there will be more in-market streaming of live baseball games, using the example of what Napster did to the music industry (though he does not mention Napster by name) to illustrate what can happen when industries don’t deliver for customers.
