memorial trust fund in honor of ESPN and sports industry audio
legend Ron Scalise that will be used for the college education of his
three children: Rosario, 16, RJ, 11, and his daughter Brenna, 10. At
the request of the family this will be the only fund established to

Third Annual Sports & Technology Research Study

third-annual “Sports & Technology Research Survey, highlighting the power
that sports content has as both a driver of HD set sales as well as other new

brand new full-featured multi-format test generator based on their portable
test generator – The Testor. LYNX will be showcasing the new module
at Booth # SU14609 at NAB 2008.
The new test generator (model: PTG 5610) fits neatly into
LYNX Series 5000 racks and provides all the advanced features and functions of
the portable hand held Testor, which was launched in 2005 with hundreds sold
worldwide.
The PTG5610 multi-format module provides two simultaneous
HD-SDI / SD-SDI test pattern outputs as well as 8 channel-AES audio test
generator functionality with 4 external AES outputs. It can also be used
as a standalone multi-format analog video sync generator. A comprehensive
static and dynamic test pattern library is supplied for all formats and is
supplemented by an integrated compact flash slot, allowing you to upload your
own patterns using DPX files. This key feature allows you to also use the
new test generator as a compact still-store.
The modular architecture, flexible multi-format genlock
capabilities, and fully adjustable timing make the new module ideal for signal
path integrity testing. The PTG5610 will meet future needs as well as
today’s requirements.
