NHL Network Begins Daily HD Simulcast of NHL Live

The National Hockey League (NHL) will be televising NHL Live in high definition by NHL in the U.S. and Canada.  NHL Live will be the first XM Satellite Radio show to be simulcast daily by a television network.  NHL Network’s HD simulcast of the two-hour show debuts Monday, March 17 at Noon ET.  NHL Live originates from the NHL/XM studio inside the NHL Powered By Reebok retail location in the heart of New York City and can be heard Monday through Friday on NHL Home Ice (XM 204) and NHL.com. 

NHL Live is a spirited, interactive talk radio show dedicated to all things related to the NHL.  Hosted by Don La Greca and E.J. Hradek, the program boasts comprehensive coverage of the NHL including interviews with top NHL players, coaches, executives and analysts.  The NHL Network simulcasts of NHL Live will continue daily throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.  The network will televise encore presentations of the program daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.

Fans will continue to play a major role in the program.  Not only are they able to visit the one-of-a-kind studio located at 47th St. and 6th Ave in Manhattan, but viewers and listeners can also submit questions and comments about the latest NHL topics by calling 1-877-NHL-ON-XM (1-877-645-6696) or emailing nhllive@xmradio.ca.  NHL Live is a production of NHL Radio.  The NHL Home Ice Radio channel airs across the U.S. and Canada on XM Satellite Radio and XM Canada.
