Join the Sports Video Group and a list of industry luminaries on
December 16, 2008 for the induction ceremony of the 2008 Sports
Broadcasting Hall of Fame class!
Each year the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame ceremony brings the
entire industry together for an evening of celebration and rememberance
as we honor those who have made the sports broadcast industry the
powerhouse it is today. The goal is to recognize all professions
related to sports television, from on-air talent, to league executives,
TV network management, and even engineering talent and manufacturers of
equipment.
This year's class will build on last year's 11 inductees that included
legends like Roone Arledge, Jim McKay, Howard Cosell, Harry Coyle,
George Wensel, Larry Thorpe and Ed Sabol. To watch last year's ceremony
and learn more about this important industry initiative click here
