Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the home for the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Golden State Warriors, San Jose Sharks, San Jose SaberCats, and San Jose Earthquakes, says that Devon Fox has been promoted to director of production/live events.

In her new role, Fox’s responsibilities include tracking the finances of approximately 400 live event telecasts per year, supervising the technical operations of the network’s Athletics and Sharks coverage, and coordinating the integration of the network’s new pregame, postgame and studio programming with game production crews.

“I am thrilled to announce Devon’s promotion, which is reflective of the dedication and commitment that she has shown to our network,” said Ted Griggs, vice president and general manager, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

Devon has contributed greatly to the success of our company over the years.  I am confident that she will continue to provide leadership to our staff and play a key role in maintaining our first-rate game telecasts.  I look forward to more of her incomparable contributions for years to come.”

Fox was promoted from production services manager to the newly created position of director of production/live events.  She originally joined Comcast SportsNet Bay Area in 2000 and had prior roles as production assistant and production manager.  Hailing from Sacramento, CA, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1999 with a degree in American Studies with an emphasis in Sports and American Enterprises.  Fox and her husband Justin live in San Francisco, CA.
