Harris Corporation’s OSi-Traffic inventory management and
accounting solution is now being used by more than 650
In the last calendar year alone, 23 new broadcast organizations acquired the OSi-Traffic solution. These new customers range from large-station groups and networks, to large-market, middle-market and small-market stations. Harris OSi-Traffic includes accounting, sales and reporting components to help customers keep their expenses low and operate more efficiently. Operations are streamlined through a central database. The system provides users with the ability to leverage a relational database that coordinates the demands of multiple stations, with multiple channels, operating in a consolidated environment. "Broadcasters want a scalable, upgradeable traffic system that will serve them well into the future," said Tim Thorsteinson, president of Harris Broadcast Communications. "With OSi-Traffic, our customers now have a system that provides tight control over every aspect of their group-wide traffic operations and the tools to run a more efficient, more profitable operation. Our customers are constantly ahead of the technological curve, thanks to new features such as notifications, BXF integration with automation, and the ability to work with non-traditional revenue streams."
