UCLA has upgraded its Pauley Pavilion facility with state-of-the-art, integrated, light emitting diode (LED) displays to better inform and entertain Bruins basketball fans. The displays are designed and manufactured by Daktronics Inc. and were installed in time for the Bruins Pacific-10 Conference schedule.

The system includes four corner ProAd displays featuring the latest Daktronics LED technology with the capabilities to present colorful animation and vivid graphics with incredible brightness and wide angle visibility. The full-color displays are approximately 21 feet wide by 3 feet high with pixels on 20 millimeter spacing. Daktronics LED technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.

In addition, UCLA added six Daktronics courtside LED scorer's tables. One of the latest trends in providing in-game information and additional sponsorship opportunities, digital scorer's tables have been featured at the 2006 and 2007 NCAA Men's Division I Final Four events in which UCLA participated.

"The new displays have been a great addition to Pauley Pavilion. They have enhanced our fan experience plus added visibility to our corporate sponsors generating additional revenue," said Ross Bjork, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations at UCLA. "With their continued innovation in unique applications such as the scorer's tables, and the consistently outstanding customer service, Daktronics has proven to UCLA why they are the leader in the industry."
