Shure will be exhibiting its line of broadcast, field production,
and studio production microphones at NAB.
Featured models include the popular SM7B studio microphone which
features excellent shielding against electromagnetic hum from video monitors;
the VP64A handheld microphone which provides clarity and crispness to field
interviews; and the SM63L, which offers a patented isolation system for low
handling noise.
Newer to broadcast is the KSM32 studio condenser microphone. Shure
says the KSM32 is an excellent choice for on-camera production, live radio
production and voiceover work because it delivers better clarity and detail,
which gives the announcer's voice more transparency and realism.
The SM89 shotgun microphone will also be on display at NAB. Shure
says the SM89 delivers consistent sound quality across its pickup pattern for
minimal off-axis coloration, and weighs only seven ounces for less operator
fatigue when used on a boom or fishpole.
The VP88 stereo microphone makes stereo field production easy, with the
ability to output Left/Right stereo in three different image widths or discrete
Mid and Side tracks for later matrixing.
