Gerling to demo “Really Big Show”

For NAB 2008, Gerling and Associates will be demonstrating the finished product that was introduced last year. “The Really Big Show,” owned by IMS, is a 53-foot trailer with a 51-foot expanding-side system that extends more than 80 inches outward. The product is ideal for the North American remote-production industry, affording as much space as a double-expanding-side trailer with the weight of a single-expanding-side trailer.

Given interest in the “Set Shoot and Strike” concept using smaller trucks, Gerling and Associates will also demonstrate the Super Stallion Production Truck. It features a 30-foot body and a 28-foot expanding-side system extending 60 inches out to provide the most room available in a self-contained chassis-mounted production truck.

Also in the Gerling and Associates booth will be two progressive uplink units featuring multiple antenna platforms and expanding-side systems as well.
