Fischer Connectors Readies For Global Product Launch

At NAB, Fischer Connectors is showcasing its industry standard 1051 and 1053-series fiber-optic HDTV broadcast camera connectors, the company’s basic line of products used throughout the industry.

Mark Richards, international broadcast business manager for Fischer Connectors, explains that the company is now in the final stages of technical product development for a global launch scheduled for November 2008.  

“It will be really high-end fiber optics,” Richards explains. “With new technologies, the idea is to make the product really easy for the customer, so it’s really simplified, very high-data. We’re not looking at camera connections; we’re looking at outside, durable data connections.”

Fischer is planning a full-scale global marketing campaign to unveil the new products across global standards. More information will be available in the coming months.
