Adobe integrates with XDCam

In the Adobe booth check out Adobe’s Creative Suite 3 Production Premium post production solution. Their solution now integrates with Sony XDCam Ex and Panasonic P2 cards to create a tapeless HD workflow.

“We are about being the middle man,” says David Kelly Helmly Sr., Adobe’s Sr. Business Development Manager of Digital/Imaging/Digital Video. The idea was to create a native or “raw” edit that required no conversion or transcoding.  “This integration prevents against low quality 1080i,” says Kelly.

Adobe can now play in Apple’s playground as well as Panasonic, Avid and of course Sony. Importing content in to this workflow enables quick and efficient edits.
