LiaoNing TV Taps Vinten for OB Vans at Olympics

Shenyang, China-based Liaoning TV equipped the outside-broadcast vans for its Olympics coverage with some of the latest camera-support equipment from Vinten.

Liaoning TV is using Vinten’s Vision 100 pan-and-tilt head and tripod systems and the Vector 90 pan-and-tilt heads with heavy-duty tripods for broadcasting from a range of OB locations during the Olympics.

Shenyang is the political, cultural and transportation centre of north China. Liaoning TV’s satellite channel covers all of China and the Asia-Pacific area through the Asia No. 2 satellite. Established in 1959, Lioaning’s news channel reaches 270 million households all over China while its other channels -- sports, business, city-life, entertainment, and science news -- are broadcast throughout the Liaoning Province .

It is also quick and easy to set up and reposition as is required to cover fast-paced sports.
