SVG members front and center in NY Times article on digital archiving

The New York Times dove into the topic of digital sports archives in today's Business section article on E-Commerce and SVG and its members were featured. Reporter Bob Tedeschi rolls through some of the efforts being undertaken by the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB.com and NASCAR to digitize archives and, potentially, drive revenues. "We view this as a mission we have to execute for the fans," says Steve Hellmuth, NBA Entertainment SVP. "The revenue side of it comes second." And as the cost of technology continues to fall those revenues become closer to becoming a reality.
