TSN revealed its 2008 Toronto Blue Jays broadcast schedule and it features 20 regular season games in high definition. All broadcasts will be produced by TSN HD. This year marks the 25th consecutive year of Blue Jays Baseball on TSN. Blue Jays Baseball continues to draw strong audiences. The past three seasons (2005-07) Blue Jays baseball averaged 401,000 viewers per game.
TSN’s 2008 coverage gets underway on Saturday, Mar. 29 at 1
p.m. ET, with the Jays’ final spring training game as they visit their 1993
World Series opponents, the Philadelphia Phillies, featuring back-to-back NL
MVPs in Jimmy Rollins (2007) and Ryan Howard (2006), as well as Canadian
right-hander Scott Mathieson. Rod Black and Pat Tabler return to the
booth for their 7th consecutive year to anchor the Rogers Jays on TSN
broadcasts.
