Choi tapped to head Tandberg TV Asia-Pacific Apr 11, 2008 - 8:42:39 AM

TANDBERG Television, part of the Ericsson Group, has appointed Dario Choi as Vice President and General Manager of TANDBERG Television Asia-Pacific with immediate effect.

Dario will be responsible for the TANDBERG Television business in the region and will lead all commercial operations including the sales, engineering, customer support, marketing, finance and administration teams. Dario was previously Senior Sales Director, responsible for overseeing the development of TANDBERG Television’s sales and business opportunities in SE & NE Asia. He joined TANDBERG Television in April 2003, with 13 years experience in sales, marketing and customer support in various industries, including broadcast, telco and ISP.

Through its direct sales force and a network of 18 business partners, TANDBERG Television services more than 200 customers in over 20 countries throughout China, South East and North East Asia and Australia and New Zealand.

Dario was previously with SkyStream Networks as the Managing Director of Asia-Pacific. He has an Electrical Engineering degree from University of Alberta, Canada and is a member of the International Engineering Consortium and the ISP-Satellites Forum.
