ESPN Deportes Provides Exclusive Spanish-Language Coverage of MLB All-Star Game

ESPN Deportes is offering an exclusive live Spanish-language radio broadcast of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game and the festivities leading up to it, including the Home Run Derby and Futures Game, all taking place July 9-11 at PNC Bank Park in Pittsburgh, PA.
ESPN Deportes television coverage includes former Major Leaguers Candy Maldonado and Carlos Baerga commentating on the Home Run Derby on Monday, July 10; Spanish Emmy nominee Alvaro Martin calling the Futures Game on the same day; and a one-hour special edition of Beisbol Esta Noche (Baseball Tonight) originating from PNC Park on July 11.
Over the radio, ESPN Deportes is providing an exclusive national Spanish-language broadcast of the All-Star Game via affiliated stations in Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Diego, Fresno, El Paso, Albuquerque, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Boston, Tucson, Bakersfield, Salt Lake City, El Centro Yuma, Reno, and Port St. Lucie. The broadcast team includes Hall of Fame broadcaster Jaime Jarrin and former All-Star player and manager Cookie Rojas. A special two-hour edition of Conozca Las Estrellas (Meet the Stars) will air July 10, featuring interviews with the Latino All-Stars.
Online, the coverage on ESPNdeportes.com includes All-Star blogs written by Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Miguel Batista and ESPNdeportes.com baseball writer Enrique Rojas, game analysis and previews through Internet-only ESPN Motion video wraps, and ESPN s MLB GameCast, which provides real-time data and live pitch-by-pitch coverage of the game.
ESPN Deportes Baerga will also be available for an online chat on July 10, prior to the Home Run Derby, and Ernesto Jerez will host a chat on Juy 11.
