Ross Video appoints Budrow director of sales
Ross Video has appointed Darren Budrow, who most recently helped the company expand its presence in Asia, as the new director of sales. In his new role, Budrow will develop and implement sales strategies to meet the growing demand for Ross Video broadcast solutions globally. He brings a wealth of business skills and capabilities focused on developing strong customer relationships and increasing market share. Most recently Budrow was responsible for expanding Ross Video’s international presence in Asia. Both the Ross Video Sales Team as well as the Technical Services group will report to Budrow, effective immediately. “I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Budrow to the position of Director of Sales,” said Jeff Moore, President. “Darren brings a solid base of experience to the role as well as an infectious enthusiasm for Ross, our products, our client base and our potential.” Budrow commented, “I’m thrilled about the opportunity to lead such a dynamic and talented group of Sales Managers and Technical Service individuals as we continue to deliver first class broadcast solutions to the live production industry.” Budrow has over 13 years experience in the broadcast industry and started his career in Technical Sales with Ross Video gaining responsibilities for targeting the U.S. Networks in New York City as well as being assistant RossGear Product Manager to John Ross, Founder. He then joined Acura Technology Group as Broadcast Sales Manager covering top broadcaster accounts in the Toronto market and selling a wide variety of products and turnkey systems. He returned to Ross Video in 2002 as International Sales Manager for the Asian market. Budrow attended the University of Manitoba before earning his technical diploma in Broadcast Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
