WAC wacks Web with XOS

The Western Athletic Conference has signed a deal with XOS Technologies to help bring WAC content to the marketplace. For its partnership with the WAC, XOS will provide an online platform that includes Web site design, technology integration, Web publishing capability, E-commerce solutions and event registration services. More specifically, the Conference can now publish news and information about its athletics teams on the revamped WACsports.com site. In addition, WAC fans can view live statistics, purchase official team merchandise, participate in online auctions, register for events and subscribe to streaming video and audio for games, highlights, press conferences and other exclusive features. The WAC will also be able to take advantage of XOS Network partnerships, gaining additional content and distribution through media partners such as Google and ESPN.com.

In its 45th year, the Western Athletic Conference’s nine schools (Boise State, Fresno State, Idaho, Hawaii, Louisiana Tech, Nevada, New Mexico State, San Jose State and Utah State) continue to advance their programs to contend at the top levels of the NCAA.
