PESA/Fortel names new International Sales Director

PESA/Fortel, part of the QuStream group of companies and a leading provider
of analog and digital video and audio equipment for broadcast applications, announced the appointment of Mark Gardner to the role of International
Sales Director. Mark will reside in the U.K, operating out of the newly
established London-based office of QuStream, U.K. Ltd. Mark will
be instrumental in promoting and managing market growth throughout Europe,
the Middle East, and Africa. In addition, he will oversee distribution
and systems integrators throughout the Asian region. Mark will report
directly to Robert McAlpine, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
for PESA Switching Systems, Inc. and Fortel DTV, Inc.

Mark joins PESA from Pro-Bel Ltd., a
UK-based manufacturer and supplier of routing switchers and signal processing
gear. Mark was responsible for overseeing international accounts, and
product training for customers in both North American and Asian markets.
With his keen awareness to customer needs, Mark played an integral role
in supporting product development. Mark s knowledge and experience
in routing switchers and signal processing gear will be an asset for
our aggressive growth strategy to build market share outside the U.S.,
said Robert McAlpine, senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Prior to his position as sales manager,
Gardner held the role of sales director for Vistek Electronics Ltd..
At Vistek, he gained extensive experience dealing with international
customers as well as working with international distributors on technical
and sales tasks. Gardner also held roles as product manager and hardware
design engineer at Vistek. Mark attended the University of Bristol for
a BEng in Electronic and Communications.
