vizrt systems selected to enhance graphic design for Two Argentinean networks

Artear Channel 13, broadcasters of Argentina s news
program, and owners of the 24-hour news channel, Todo Noticias, have selected
Vizrt graphics software to update both networks logos, promos, news, weather
and traffic reports. Artear Channel 13 chose three Vizrt
Viz|Trio real-time 3D character generation and graphics systems. Two Viz|Trio systems
and two Viz|Artist 3D animation design interfaces were installed to
enhance the overall graphic look of its news coverage at Todo Noticias. Both
networks outsourced the graphics design and implementation process to Gizmo Studios
based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Viz|Trio is a cost-effective, yet powerful, real-time
2D/3D character generator. In addition to the basic CG features it offers a
feature-rich 3D design system for creation of true 3D graphics and animations.
Viz|Trio offers a wide range of attractive features such as the Look-Ahead
Transition Logic, multiple clients controlling one output channel and
integration to nonlinear editing systems. Viz|Trio features an easy-to-use
internal compositing tool and integration of several major nonlinear editing
systems. The compositing tool enables fast, template-based design recreation.

Viz|Artist is a user-friendly broadcast design application producing
high quality, real-time 2D/3D animated graphics as either HD or SD video.
Viz|Artist s icon-based drag-and-drop user interface enables users to produce
complex animations for a variety of broadcast applications, including virtual
reality studio sets, in less time and with greater creative freedom than with
conventional systems.

Vizrt was the only
product in the market capable of making a real change to our networks images,
said Ricardo Pipino, General Manager, Artear
Channel 13 and Todo Noticias. We felt the competitive products were just
typical character generators, and we wanted the dynamic approach that only
Vizrt could offer.

Because TN operates a live, 24-hour news channel, it had to
train its staff on the new Vizrt system in a way that wouldn t interfere with
getting programs to air. To implement this change, Pipino hired Gizmo Studios.

Gizmo Studios did an excellent job creating a brand new
graphical look for our networks, while training us at the same time until we
were ready to go on air with the new look, Pipino said.
