Sandomir: World Series coverage marred by fan shots

Viewers of the World Series on Fox Sports who thought they were taking part in an attention deficit disorder test weren’t alone. New York Times columnist Richard Sandomir reports that during Game 4 viewers saw 222 crowd shots and 153 shots inside the dugouts for a total of 375 images away from the field. “To see 222 crowd shots in nine innings is absurd,” says Sandomir. “Are all those sightings supposed to bond viewers and spectators in some kind of baseball Kumbaya embrace?”
