Not the Super Bowl, not American Idol nothing gets in the way of ratings powerhouse CSI which continues to steamroll the competition as the most-watched program on Canadian television. Once again, CSI is the No. 1 program of the week, besting the Super Bowl XLI (down 21 per cent) and leading CTV to 7 out of the Top 10 programs on Canadian television.

With an average audience of 3.5 million viewers (original episodes), CSI is enjoying its most successful season to date seven years after its premiere. In this week’s episode (airing Thursday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV), Grissom returns from his sabbatical as Keppler (guest Star Liev Schreiber) attempts to conceal his ties to a double murder case that he and his colleagues are investigating.
