Scott joins Azzurro HD as senior sales director

Azzurro HD has appointed veteran sales professional Jim Scott as its Senior Director of Sales. Scott comes to Azzurro HD, the Meet Me Point for Digital Video Services, after nearly 15 years in television video and advertising sales for PanAmSat, Major League Baseball and Phoenix Communications. He also spent more than a decade as an award-winning producer at Major League Baseball Productions.

During his five-year tenure with PanAmSat, he grew sales each year from major customers including ABC News, CBS News, ESPN, MTV and the National Football League. Working with key staffers at ABC News, he developed an innovative VoIP system providing 4-digit dialing to ABC News in New York from around the world. His work for Major League Baseball and Phoenix included the development of the first-ever sports highlight and news feed service, Sports NewSatellite.
