FSN Networks names Krolik EVP, Fox Sports Regional Networks

FSN Networks President Randy Freer announced today that Jeff Krolik, an accomplished media executive with a deep background in the regional sports network business, has been named Executive Vice President, Fox Sports Regional Networks. Krolik will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for FSN’s owned-and-operated regional sports networks, the largest such network group in the country. Krolik, who had been serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager of FSN Bay Area, will be based in FSN’s Los Angeles headquarters and report to Freer.

“Jeff is a strategic thinker who has the critical skills necessary to lead our RSN business into the next decade,” said Freer. “He will guide our management team as we concentrate on developing local content for all our media platforms in order to better connect fans with their favorite teams. Jeff will also lead the effort to focus our networks where appropriate to create greater localism and strengthen FSN’s position as a leading local sports destination.”

Krolik joined FSN Bay Area as general manager in 1995, where he was responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the business, including affiliate relations, advertising sales, programming, production, marketing, and public relations. Previously, Krolik had been Vice President of HBO International, where he was responsible for identifying and developing pay-TV channels and other media ventures in key global markets. Krolik first joined HBO in 1979, where he held a series of jobs in HBO’s sales and marketing areas in New York, Florida, and California. Krolik began his career in politics as a member of the staff of Vice President Nelson Rockefeller.

A native of New York City, Krolik is a graduate of Dartmouth College. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Special Olympics of Northern California. Krolik and his family currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
