Polyard will lead the expanding sales team currently serving North, Central, and South America. With more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Polyard brings a combination of industry knowledge and skills ranging from news gathering to international sales and marketing.

“Our customers deserve the highest-quality, most responsive representation in the industry, and by adding Dave to our team, we’re ensuring that the investment we’ve made in other areas, such as product development and customer support, will be enhanced by the efforts of our sales team,” said Front Porch Digital CEO Mike Knaisch. “Dave is extremely well versed in understanding how complex solutions and workflows interact in a broadcast facility, and we feel lucky to have him on our team. Dave is very well known in the industry, and his contacts, credibility, and integrity will only enhance our efforts to strengthen Front Porch Digital’s position as the world’s leading provider of content storage management tools.”

Polyard’s background includes more than 15 years as a television news producer, director, photographer, journalist, and manager. He has previously served as an executive with companies such as The Associated Press and OmniBus Systems, where he provided sales and marketing leadership. Polyard was on the team that launched AP ENPS, the successful newsroom management tool that is installed at hundreds of sites around the world.

In addition to providing leadership for the sales team, Polyard will work closely with and manage the team providing support to Front Porch Digital’s distributor, reseller, and partner programs in the Americas.
