FSN North to Televise 43 Minnesota Twins Games in HD

FSN North announced that it will televise 43 Minnesota

Twins games
in high-definition television (HD) in 2007—an increase of more than 150 percent
from 2006.

The 43 HD telecasts comprise nearly 40 percent of all 116 Minnesota
Twins telecasts on FSN North in 2007.

Twins HD telecasts on FSN North can be seen

on Comcast, Mediacom,
most Charter systems,

Midcontinent Communications, Sjoberg’s Cable, and
DirecTV

.

HD
transmits a picture that is much sharper and clearer than standard-definition
television pictures. These games will provide images six times more detailed
than the traditional analog format.

HD telecasts are often placed on special channels by the local cable and
satellite television providers. Please consult your local cable or satellite
television provider to make sure you have the proper subscription package and
equipment to view HD games.
