NFL Loosens Ban on Sideline Cameras
Story Highlights
Broadcasting & Cable reports that the NFL
now says it will allow up to 10 station crews, five from
the home city and five from the local market of the visiting team, to
cover the games from the sidelines and provide pool coverage for other
stations, according to RTNDA. But Barbara Cochran, RTNDA president,
told B&C that the deal isn’t enough as out-of-market broadcasters
will be ineligible for on-field access.
