NY Times looks at NBA’s coaching technology

The New York Times goes
inside the NBA’s statistics and game-break down technologies, focusing
on Synergy Sports Technology (a company whose prinicipal investor is
Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban) and its interaction with the
leagues’s digital video archive. “The statistics point you in the right
direction,” says David Griffin, the assistant general manager for the
Phoenix Suns. “But to understand, you have to watch the video.
Eventually, everybody will be able to see anything you want to see, any
time.”
