Raceworld USA opens its doors with interactive fan features designed and implemented by XOS
Story Highlights
XOS
Technologies,
along with creative partner Downstream, announced that
their motorsports partners Michael Waltrip Racing and ARK Group have outfitted
their new interactive race shop, Raceworld USA, with “One Up” technology – a
custom Facilities Design & Integration service.
One Up services combine environmental design, the latest
video-display technology and visual storytelling to
and
create immersive experiences that entertain and inspire
fans and team members. XOS and creative partner Downstream kicked off
their role with the project by integrating technology features in the grand
entrance of the race shop.
“Since
my vision for Raceworld
USA
has always been to provide the ultimate race-fan experience, One Up is more
than a suitable fit,” said Michael Waltrip, founder. “The ultimate fan
experience requires a unique facility that creatively tells our story. I’m
pleased to say that with One Up we’ve successfully achieved this goal.”
Raceworld
USA encompasses more than
140,000 square feet of indoor space on 11.5 acres in
Cornelius,
N.C.,
and is the first interactive NASCAR race shop built. It houses three NASCAR
NEXTEL Cup teams and one NASCAR Busch Series team. However, the significant
distinction of this race team shop is that, unlike most shops, fans are invited
to tour the facility and see operations that are normally kept behind closed
doors.
“XOS
is thrilled to welcome Raceworld
USA as one of its first official
Facilities Design & Integration partners in the motorsports industry,” said
Bob Simmons, XOS Coaching Solutions President. “The One Up service is quickly
gaining momentum and we’re committed to not only exceeding the expectations of
Michael Waltrip Racing ARK Group, but also to ensuring that fans can enjoy an
exciting and unique experience.”
