Premier Postage unveils Postage Series to Honor Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn

Premier
Postage, a provider of customized postage sheets and collectibles,
announced the introduction of limited edition, commemorative customized postage
sheets of newly elected baseball Hall of Famers

Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn.

The
exclusive 10-count sheets retail for $24.99 each and will not be reprinted once
the 15,000 available sheets are sold out. In addition, framed customized
postage sheets will be available in autographed and non-autographed versions.
The entire collection can be purchased at

premierpostage.com,
MLB.com,
ironcladauthentics.com,
and baseballhalloffame.org as well as Baseball Hall of Fame retail outlets.

“We
couldn’t think of a better way to launch our Major League Baseball postage
products than to honor the incredible careers of these baseball legends,”
said Mike Samora, Founder and President of Premier Postage.

Ripken, a
two-time Most Valuable Player and 19-time All-Star over his 21- year career,
set the major-league mark of 2,632 consecutive games played. Gwynn, an
eight-time batting champion, closed out his 20-year career with 3,141 hits and
a lifetime batting average of .338. Both were elected to the Baseball Hall of
Fame in January in their first year of eligibility.

“This
is really quite an honor,” said Gwynn. “Lots of guys have had their
pictures on trading cards, but very few players have ever been featured on
their own postage before. What’s great is fans can collect or use them to send
letters.”

The first
printed Ripken and Gwynn Hall of Fame postage sheets will be autographed and
auctioned off for charity on MLB.com beginning May 30, 2007. Proceeds from the
Ripken postage sheet will benefit the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation while proceeds
from the Gwynn postage sheet will benefit the TAG Foundation.

In
addition to the Ripken and Gwynn Hall of Fame sheets, a full line of licensed
customized postage sheets highlighting all 30 Major League Baseball teams will
be available on MLB.com and premierpostage.com.
