Gameloft’s 2006 Real Soccer 3D wins awards

Gameloft, a leading international developer and publisher of games for mobile phones, is proud to announce that its bestseller, 2006 Real Soccer 3D, has been awarded “Best Mobile Game of 2007” from Global Mobile Content Awards (GMCA). The ceremony took place on Wednesday, May 30th at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill in Seoul, Korea.
Held in conjunction with The 4th Seoul Digital Forum (SDF 2007), GMCA, co-organized by SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) and KOCCA (Korea Content & Culture Agency), recognizes outstanding achievements in mobile content creation for games and audio/visual productions that are specifically developed for digital mobile gadgets as well as services and technologies that enable or facilitate mobile content.

The fourth soccer simulation game to be published by Gameloft, 2006 Real Soccer 3D has spread its fame all over the world. The game allows players to join up to 32 national teams or one of 16 prestigious clubs and fully participate in six different competitions, available in five varied game modes (Quickplay, Exhibition, Cup, League and Training). Players can try to qualify for the world’s biggest soccer showdown of 2006 in Germany or take part in an international, European cup or league. 2006 Real Soccer 3D also features almost 1000 world-famous players, including Djibril Ciss , Andrei Shevchenko and Oliver Kahn, licensed by FIFPRO, plus the leading European club teams (updated February, 2006).
