SEC Distributes $122 Million Among Teams

The
Southeastern Conference announced Friday it will split 122 million dollars
among its 12 member schools for the current fiscal year.

The
revenue for the fiscal year ending August 31st is a record for the SEC and
represents a five-point-one percent increase from the 116.1 million dollars a
year earlier.

The
revenue sharing includes money generated by television for football and
basketball, the football championship game and the SEC and NCAA men’s
basketball tournaments.

The
average amount distributed to each school was 10.17million dollars.
