LASEC provides an Intimate Evening with NFL Legends

The LA
Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) and Wolfgang Puck Catering
present NFL 101/201 Get Ready for Some Football: An Intimate Evening With NFL
Legends, an exciting, officially sanctioned NFL event intended to teach men and
women the fundamentals of football. NFL 101/201 will take place at 5:30 p.m. on
Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Speakers
to date include Keyshawn Johnson, Announcer, ESPN and three-time NFL Pro Bowl
receiver and former USC All-America; Peter King, Senior Writer, Sports
Illustrated, Reporter, NBC Football Night in America and HBO Inside the NFL;
Andrea Kremer, Reporter, NBC Sports, correspondent, HBO Real Sports and event
emcee; Jim Mora, former New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts Head Coach;
Mike Pereira, Vice President of Officiating, NFL; Amy Trask, Chief Executive,
Oakland Raiders; Gordon Batty, Equipment Manager, Green Bay Packers; and others
to be announced shortly.

Several
levels of participation are available. Super Bowl ($25,000), Touchdown Sponsor
($12,500) and Field Goal ($5,000) sponsorships offer a variety of benefits
including company jerseys and private field time for Super Bowl sponsors.
Additionally, a few individual tickets are available at $350 each. Wolfgang
Puck Catering is the presenting sponsor of the event for the 5th year in a row.

The
evening’s activities include:

NFL
101/201 “Play Like A Pro” Experience on the Field: Quarterback, Wide Receiver,
Running Back and Kicker competitions;

Activities
for the non-athletes including a chance to be a sports announcer, locker room
tours, equipment demonstration and a basic skills clinic;

Cocktail
reception, buffet dinner and gift bags;

Panel
Discussion with NFL legends;

This is
the fifth annual NFL 101/201 event and follows on the heels of the highly
successful Basketball 101 with Phil Jackson event, also created by LASEC. “This
event gives armchair quarterbacks the chance to come out and experience what
it’s like to play on the field. We will give both fans and non-fans an
opportunity to learn more about football and drive interest for the NFL’s
potential return to
