Complete Live Coverage of U.S. Open Championship on TSN

Canadian
golf fans will be able to watch live coverage of all 4 rounds of the season’s
second major – the U.S. Open Championship – on multiple platforms: TSN, TSN HD
and TSN Broadband (at www.TSN.ca) from June 14 to 17 from

Oakmont,
PA.

The
tournament marks the first time TSN Broadband will provide live streaming of an
entire golf major. This past April, TSN Broadband provided live coverage
of Amen Corner during the first two rounds of The Masters.

Leading
into each round, TSN will also produce and televise a live 30-minute U.S. Open
Preview Show from the Oakmont Country Club. Cory Woron will host on-site
alongside analyst Jim Nelford and TSN Golf Insider Bob Weeks, as they provide
analysis, features and player interviews. The trio will also file daily
reports for SportsCentre beginning Monday, June 11.

This
year’s 107th U.S. Open marks a record eighth time the tourney will be held at
Oakmont Country Club. The tournament welcomes the biggest names in golf,
including Tiger Woods, who hasn’t won the event since 2002 and Phil Mickelson,
still searching for his first career U.S. Open victory. Last year’s
winner, Geoff Ogilvy, seeks to become the first back-to-back champion since
Curtis Strange accomplished the feat in 1988 and ’89.

Open Golf Revisited, a 6-hour retrospective, on Tuesday, June 12 from 6 p.m. to
12 midnight ET. The schedule is as follows:

6 p.m. ET
– 1991 at Hazeltine National Golf Club, MN – The late Payne Stewart wins his
first of 2 U.S. Open titles.

7 p.m. ET
– 1993 at Baltusrol Golf Club, NJ – Lee Janzen is the winner by 2 strokes over
Payne Stewart. Janzen would win the title again in 1998.

8 p.m. ET
– 1994 at Oakmont Country Club, PA – Ernie Els wins his first of 2 career

U.S.
Open titles.

9 p.m. ET
– 1999 at Pinehurst Number 2, NC – Payne Stewart wins his second title and is
at the top of his game. He is tragically killed in a plane crash a short
time later.

10 p.m. ET
– 2000 at

Pebble Beach,
CA – Tiger Woods continues his ascent to the
top of the golf world with his first U.S. Open title.
