FOR-A opens Miami Office

FOR-A
Corporation of America, a manufacturer of video and audio systems for the
broadcast and professional video industries, continues its growth in the Latin
American and

Caribbean markets. The company
has officially opened its new

Miami
office. Located at

5200 Blue
Lagoon Drive, Suite 760, in

Miami,
the office was opened to enhance FOR-A service to a growing base of customers
and distributors in the Latin American and

Caribbean
markets.

Caribbean
and Latin America Regional Sales Manager, Pedro Silvestre, said establishing a
Miami location facilitates the promotion of FOR-A’s new HD/SD line of
switchers, frame synchronizers, and signal processing equipment to the Latin
American market. “Our presence in

Miami not only
reinforces our position with our existing Latin American and

Caribbean
distributors, it allows us to focus on introducing FOR-A’s innovative products
into new territories,” Silvestre explained.

Recent
sales in the region demonstrate the growing awareness of FOR-A’s product line.
Gayelle TV, a privately owned station serving

Trinidad and Tobago, recently
purchased FOR-A’s VPS-700 digital switcher. The station uses the switcher in
producing at least nine hours of live, original programming daily – a combination
of live talk shows and a popular local soap opera, Rosie. Gayelle TV shows are
seen on cable systems throughout the

island
of

Trinidad and

Grenada and on UHF channel 23 in the Trinidadian
city of

Port of Spain.

Also in

Trinidad and Tobago,
a FOR-A VPS-700 and an HVS-500 switcher are in use at Media 21. Media 21 is a
multimedia service provider. The company uses both FOR-A switchers to produce
video coverage of live events and concerts for the twin island’s business and
entertainment sector. Media 21 also provides audio and video services to
corporations and hotels throughout the

Caribbean.
And a state-of-the-art digital television studio at the

Trinidad and Tobago
Parliament was recently installed by Media 21.
