TV2GO Released by PGK Media

2007 is marking the launch of TV2GO, a Digital Mobile TV Broadcasting trial
operated by PGK Media Pte Ltd in Singapore in alliance with Zentek Technology
Pte Ltd, NCS Communications Engineering Pte Ltd, CNBC Asia Pacific, ESPN STAR
Sports, Kamera
Pte Ltd, and supported by
the latest commercial mobile TV phones as the Nokia N92, the new Nokia N77 and
the Samsung SGH-P930.

Under the
alliance, PGK Media is holding and operating the trial license, Zentek
Technology

Singapore
has been appointed as main system integrator and technology enabler introducing
new converged last mile solutions and NCS has been appointed as technology
partner to provide the infrastructure planning and deployment. PGK Media’s
trial service is adopting the DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld)
broadcasting standard supported by mobile phone manufacturers and broadcasters
around the world.

TV2GO live
channels range from News to Sport to Entertainment with premium programs from
leading broadcasters as CNBC Asia Pacific, ESPN STAR Sports, WOW!TV by Kamera
with more to come. The trial channels will be available everywhere, on-the-go,
in the park, on the bus, at the cafe or at home with the introduction in

Singapore of
the latest TV mobile phones and newest digital receivers for Laptop and home
PC.

PGK
Media’s trial also supports an exciting range of engaging real-time interactive
services and new TV platforms for the audience. The user will be free to define
the level of interaction while on the move, at home, in the office or waiting
at the bus stop. Whether we just want to relax and enjoy live TV or opting for
more interactive functions as real time voting, content purchase and access to
dedicated micro-sites, will all be part of the TV2GO experience.

The Media
Development Authority of Singapore has been pivotal to PGK Media and TV2GO
trial in issuing a well catered trial license and in exchanging extensive
studies, analysis and insights on the technology aspects, service models,
content positioning and public expectations with an extremely committed project
team and creative approach.
