25 lucky kids go behind the scenes on Sunday during D-backs’ ninth annual “Kids Run the Show”

Twenty-five
children representing 12 cities throughout Arizona will take part in the
Arizona Diamondbacks’ ninth annual “Kids Run the Show” presented by
Great Clips during Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles.
The
children will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and work with
employees from all levels of the organization in a variety of positions,
including ticketing, sales, marketing, operations, broadcasting, community
affairs, grounds crew, security, camera crew and front-office staff.
Participants
will begin clocking in at 11:45 a.m. and work “behind the scenes” for
a few hours before watching the remainder of the D-backs’ game against Orioles.
More than
10,000 applications were collected from Great Clips locations throughout the
state. This year’s group includes children from Buckeye, Casa Grande,
Chandler, El Mirage, Gilbert,
Glendale,
Goodyear, Maricopa,
Mesa,
Peoria,
Phoenix and
Surprise.
Registration
will take place at 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the ballpark rotunda.
