Cox to debut local sports show

Communications will expand its local sports coverage by launching a 10 p.m.
sports show next month. “Sports Night Oklahoma” will be more of a sports
magazine than a nightly sportscast, emphasizing features, interviews and

Oklahoma ties to various
sports.

The show,
which will debut July 23 and air weeknights on The Cox Channel 7, initially
will originate from Cox’s

Tulsa
studios, but also will move to game sites. Cox plans to hire co-hosts for both

Tulsa and

Oklahoma
City. The show will replay seven times, including
10:30 p.m.
