NAHL & IceDiggers Partner With B2 Networks

Our Sports Central

The North
American Hockey League (NAHL) and the Alpena IceDiggers announced it has formed
a partnership for broadband broadcasting with B2 Networks. The new three-year
agreement will provide coverage each season beginning with the NAHL Showcase in

Blaine,

Minnesota
and ending with the Robertson Cup Championship. The revolutionary broadband
broadcasting network will be the exclusive home of live video for the NAHL and
the IceDiggers.

The new
deal will cover every Alpena IceDiggers regular and post season games both home
and away for the next three years. Last season, B2 Networks broadcast games for
the NAHL’s Alaska Avalanche, Fairbanks Ice Dogs and Texas Tornado as well as
every match of the Robertson Cup Championship.

“What
a great way for our fans that cannot travel to away games or are unable to
attend the occasional home game to see us play live on the web.” said
GM/Head Coach Kenny Miller. “This is very exciting for our players parents
that do not live in Alpena, now they can watch every game right from their on
home.”

Fans
wanting to watch NAHL hockey games via B2 will need a high-speed Internet
connection and Windows Media Player 9 or higher. Games will be sold on an
individual basis with special viewing packages to be announced at a later date.

“Having
worked with the NAHL last year, we are pleased to expand our partnership with
them,” said Bruce LeVine, B2 Networks’ Senior Vice President of Sports
Programming. “We continue to be impressed with the NAHL and look forward
to providing fans around the world with exciting hockey action through our
network.”
