RCN to Provide Subscribers with Wide Range of Programming from Disney-ABC Television Group, and ESPN

RCN
Corporation, a provider of video, data, and voice services to residential and
business customers, announced a comprehensive, multi-year programming agreement
with ESPN and the Disney-ABC Television Group for access to a wide range of
programming, networks and services. RCN will begin to carry a wide range of
video-on-demand programming from the Disney Channel, ABC Family Channel, ESPN, and
ABC News broadcasts.

to do just that. We are pleased to offer our subscribers the high-quality,
sports, news and entertainment cable programs, broadband services and Video on
Demand (VOD) choices that Disney and ESPN Networks provide.”

Under the agreement, RCN will make ABC News Now, the 24-hour news and information
network featuring live breaking news, headlines, original shows and interactive
programming available to RCN customers in all markets.

RCN this
fall will begin distributing to high speed data subscribers, ESPN’s signature
broadband service, ESPN360.com, which delivers thousands of live events including
an expanded NCAA Football schedule. RCN will also include ESPN2 HD as part of
RCN’s basic HD package. ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD will combine to deliver more
than 9,000 hours of HD programming in 2007.
